Mediterranean State of Mind

Mediterranean State of Mind

A Mediterranean State of Mind

For me, the Mediterranean has never been only a place.

It is a way of living.
A way of looking at the world, of noticing what is often overlooked.

It lives in the smallest things: the warmth of the sun on your skin, a table set without occasion, the sound of voices coming from another room, the first taste of something made with care. A coffee enjoyed slowly. The scent of the sea carried by the wind. A conversation that lasts longer than expected.

Brief moments, sometimes almost insignificant, that become unforgettable simply because you were completely there.

There is something deeply beautiful about stopping.

Breathing.
Looking.
Tasting.
Feeling.

Being surrounded by places, objects and people that feel real.

I have always been drawn to places that seem capable of taking you somewhere else. Places with a soul, where nothing feels anonymous and every detail appears to carry a memory. An old stone wall warmed by the afternoon sun. A piece of handmade ceramic. Linen moving in the breeze. A faded colour on a façade. The imperfect beauty of something touched by time.

These things speak to me because they tell a story.

And I believe beauty becomes truly meaningful when there is a story behind it.

This is also how I approach every Claudia P Studio collection.

I never want to create something simply because it is beautiful.

Behind every shape, every surface and every detail there is a memory, a place, an emotion or a sensation I wanted to preserve. Something I have seen, touched, experienced or imagined. Sometimes it begins with the light of a particular afternoon. Sometimes with architecture, a journey, an object discovered somewhere. Sometimes simply with a feeling I do not want to forget.

I translate those fragments into pieces you can wear.

Small objects that become part of your own life, collecting new memories as you wear them.

Because ultimately, Mediterranean living has very little to do with where you are.

You can feel it by the sea, of course.
But you can also find it in Paris, London, Milan or New York.

It is choosing to notice.
Choosing quality over excess.
Taking pleasure in a beautiful table, in food shared with people you love, in objects made to last, in a moment that does not need to be photographed to matter.

It is allowing yourself to be present enough to recognise beauty when it appears.

And perhaps that is what I have tried to put into Claudia P Studio from the very beginning:

pieces with a story, made to accompany your own.

A memory of light.
A place.
A feeling.

Something you can carry with you, wherever life takes you.

Because Mediterranean is not a destination.

It is a state of mind.
